Production Bitches...

Aight, this is a long one but peep it. ive been working on a stop-mo project as of late and finaly got some production pictures to post. so here goes.....

This is tyson working on our ground before we texture it you can see the motel that we built too.
dont know if you remember the character sketches from my first post ever but they were for the live action part of this project. heres the beak i sculpted and cast out of latex for the actor to use, aparently this weekend i have to texture the rest of the costume.
just me setting up the airbrush.
close up of the texturing i was doing, you can click the image for a bigger view.
me working
more of me working, told you i accualy did something.
this is the sign for the motel. its called the old sombrero all the lightbulbs light up its pretty cool. still need to make it look dirty and atach the post and sombrero to the top theres a pic further down of it lit but its not painted.

we uses a teechnique called force perspective to make it seem that the road goes on for a long distance, in acuality its only 60 in long.
tyson with my beak
heres the sign after i got the lighing installed with the sombrero on it its gonna be tight when its finished.
last but not least, i have one of my cactuses for the set. the swirling you see inderneath is the texture pattern we are applying to the ground. so thats it for now ill have a few more as soon as i can get them. caio

too good

the onion has quickly become some of my favorite tuesday pree class reading as it is distributed at the cafe across the street from my building i get one every day before class. redundant as that sentance was, i found this gem last week and have been wanting to post it  because its the cheese. click here for awsome.

Artsy Fartsy

So, heres a little update on my art stufs. thisw si a sculpture ive been working on recently for my figure sculpting class. im having a blast doing it and my professor loves it im super stoked. but its a long way off alot of is body looks to firm and young while im goin for an older look. i havr to add some more rolls and make everything saggier and wrinkley. last but not least he needs an enviroment, kinda see him in a childrens story fo im definatly thinking something fantasy-ish. if you got any ideas let me know.

the model brought in his pet bird today, so i threw it in the piece totaly gave it a new edge.
im super happy with the gesture, it really flows.

well thats it for now, ill post more as i get them. hopefully i wont forget my camera again and i can get some picks to post up from my current stop motion flick im working on.
